Appliances

Although everyone claims to install and service just about anything in their industry, often fishing for work, they may not be the best people to do so!

When considering a company to install and service appliances such as a boiler, it is very important to look for two things: qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

If the boiler is gas, the installer has to be Gas Safe qualified. In addition, the best people to use will also be accredited installers, which means that they are recognised by the manufacturers as meeting all required standards.

Experience

Separate to qualifications, but equally important, is experience. Despite having the relevant qualifications, there is no substitute for knowing an appliance inside out (quite literally!). Particularly when you are paying based on time, the quicker an engineer is able to complete the job, the less money it costs.

DPS Heating & Plumbing & Heating’s qualifications / accreditations include Gas Safe, City & Guilds, Vaillant and Worcester Bosch. There are very few, if any, main makes of appliance that we do not work with on a regular basis and if yours is one of them, we will tell you.
